So that is four of us keen, do the Lode Fest dates work for others, around 19-21 Sept? Us from Sydney would likely drive down over 2 nights, staying at Eden then Lakes Entrance and arriving Melbourne around on a date to be decided. 2 nights in Melbourne then home, 1 or 2 nights.

Gawd mine's not even roadworthy yet let alone raceworthy! But I'd definitely attend if anyone else will be there. Heathcote aren't running anything and I wonder if they'd open for a private meet? Cost would probably be the issue since they need a mandatory safety crew including MAS

Well, Wowweeeeee!![:D]

I just got home from an incredibly enjoyable day giving "the pig which is red" plenty of herbs around some of the most scenic roads in Victoria - from the city, to the mountain tops, to the beach!

I was very pleasantly surprised to see participants from Sydney and even Art Love from Qld - that's 1800km each way.....1200 MILES each way....Art's level of commitment to the cars and people of this community is breathtaking at times!

Awesome seeing new younger faces with fresh (or crusty) cars adding more and more to the scene.

Thanks once again to the organisers for a no-doubt tremendous effort that allowed participants to feel the whole day was just effortless - quality time spent getting close with new friends, and closer with old friends - Just a magical way to spend a laid back Melbourne spring day.

There were even photographers to let you all see some of the fun we had at some time later[:D].

"Hey Mister, does that rusty old thing run?" [}:)][8D]

Agreed Mark!

I had a ball. Many thanks to Matt and the other organisers. It was great to meet some of the locals and Anthony Long and Art Love from interstate.

That red car of yours was off the chart in noise and performance. A true sleeper.

I can't wait to see all the photo's now
