Thank you for forwarding this.

You are way ahead of me. I am still translating the German.

This is the only list I have ever seen like this, and I really appreciate your taking the time to translate and post it.

I have two comments about it. First, the list says that a dark brown steering wheel was available for certain interior colors (i.e. red). I don't believe I have ever seen one (for example, my car is red leather and has the black/black steering wheel). Second, it does confirm my suspicion that my car is basically a standard 204 interior, except that 204 normally gets the Macassar. My car has the burl walnut, presumably on a special request, and probably accounts for the complete lack of an Ausstattung code on the data card.

And then I still need the complete Veloursection.
I hope the translation is acceptable and understandeble ...

About the "brown" steeringwheel .......
I believe that that "section / discribtion" is for the coverpad in the centre / middle because they are all of leather !!!!
But don't hit me when I am wrong [:D]

I hope you can stiil see in this picture that the centrepad is not black. Else see your "picturecollection" of car 1061...

Mine is definitely 203 and the steering wheel is white[8D]. The seat belts are red and I have the original curtains and would call then grey, not brown.

Hi Art,

I am glad it fits with the option of the white steeringwheel and the ivory Leather Centrepad ....
It is possible that the overview is not 100 % correct, as we have learned earlier .....
But also sure that your car has aftermarket safetybelts (no code 43- on your datacard, hihihi, we know more then you might think) and possible UV-blessed recoloured curtains ???? [:o)]

I can only reproduce what I got from the recieved sheets. Of course there could be typo's in their or my overview ......

BTW: I have just started with the Velourscodes.....
BUT that will taken much much more time, because
Not all pages are readeble and some parts are very smoggy
Pages have been splitted for the SWB and for the LWB.
The pages are not in the right ranges send in so older pages are behind newer ones, without full clearance for the VINnumbers.
It will be a far greater puzzle to do.

After studying carefully, I discovered, that both are the same, and I could add some pieces, that I could not read from the very cloudy copies in the SWB-section.

This thread (which I somehow missed) made me get my datacard, along with production change order.

I do indeed have Bamboo leather, beige headliner and sun visors and black seat belts. But my carpet was originally wool, due to a carpet strike in Germany in 1970 (not cognac velour as noted). And my hornpad is black, not brown.

This is all new info to me... Thank you so much Paul!!

BTW... What is Pompadour-Taschen Fahrerlehen (leder)???

Oh wait... This is the elusive Coco Chanel leather map pocket 'option'. Which I definitely have.

I have no picture of your steeringpad, but the sheets says it should be brown ..... Is your pad original or is there new leather used or is it recoloured ??? who knows ... It could be in the sheets are made typo's ....

at last there was a code 805 for darkbrown fabric check / Diamond:

We have no sheets from this interiorcodes, but I know that the only SWB-Landaulet from Graf von Berckheim had that cloth also (in brown).

Now I found a other SWB with the same stuff. ( I hope the picture is clear enough to recognize)

The available colours are :

802 in darkgrey with Nussbaum

803 in darkblue with Nussbaum

804 in olivegreen with Wurzellnuss/burled Wallnut

Hi Paul,
many thanks for this great topic. But I saw a little mistake. I think the pic for Code 741 shows my own car and there the leatherparts are darkblue. Originally they were lightgrey til the preowner painted them darkblue. So the velour and the leatherparts shouldn´t be similary like Code 742.

I had not seen that it was not 100% original.
Obviously I have to study more on this item [:D]

I will remove that picture, because it shows not that interior as should show.

But I only can add to this if I (or Giovanni) get more datacards and then I have to study better, if those cars ar still original. So I should be more careful.

when you train a little more you can identify soon some more (and new) cars .

Do you have also that specific Austattungscode 298 ???
or do you have the regular colourcode with the normaly fitted kind of wood .... I have no clou, because the colourcode (believe 387 ??) and the interiorcode from you car are still missing in my database.

We still don't know when the factory started to use the codes 298 and 798 for "specific mixed non regular available" interiors ...
I still miss a copy of your datacard ... ((although I even could mention your keycode and retaildatum)) ..
So we can't make your car complete (yet) ..

At this moment we have collected about 130 datacards , so still missing more then 2500 ..
@ ANYONE : The more datacards we recieve, the better conclusions we can make.

The more we collect the more we can tell about codes and interiors.
So , please send in datacards for our registery and database ....

On the other hand I discovered the first SWB with leather in the front and with velours in the rear, without that that particular car has an divider.
That seems pretty UNIQUE !!!.
We are investigating the Vin , but haven't found that yet .....
