Art,
try ordering part# A 000 987 78 30, it's the piping material in grey (by the meter). Grey is the only color available at this point. Price in Germany is EUR 1.19 per meter.
Cheers,
Oliver

Thanks Oliver,
I have already tried that part number with Tom Hanson and he said he has not been able to get it for some time, last time in black. I tried Kienle and they don't have it. I tried Classic Center Fellbach, I have not tried Niemoller. Would you try your source, and if they still have it let me know who and where and what the grey colour code is. If it is M-B, then Tom can try again using the grey colour code. I could live with grey.
Thanks again,

Another idea: try Roman Woerle, he was able to have the black piping made for my car, maybe he can ship the fabric to you as well?

Has anyone got contact details for Marc van de Velde in Lokeren? I am still chasing a short length of piping to get the woodwork back into my 600 and I am wondering if he has any in one of his wrecks.

I bought the piping from a vendor at TechnoClassica last year. As I recall, he had brown, black and gray, with and without the rubber insert. I had seen the booth every time I'd been to the show, and it was always in the same place.
The name, you ask? If my life depended on it, I couldn't tell you. But I'm sure that Drew or Mike know the place, as they specialize in just such trim.

Dear Doc,
The person you need to contact is Peter Steenbuck Germany. I think he has a website. He has various colours. Havihg just replaced my MB 600 SWB you will need about 10 meters. It is not very expensive.
He is a very nice gentleman as he send me the windlace and only then asked for payment. I believe he also is a source for velour materials.

Hi All
Is this still a valid source for window piping?
Mine is starting to fall apart and needs replacing
