Ah! I can imagine in Norway not having one of those does, indeed, make the car useless. Warm summer nights are not exactly common there, that's for sure. My wife is from Denmark, and we've visited Norway a few times, so I really understand what you mean.
Regardless, thanks for the info. I will try to find an OEM version, if at all possible. I've got folks looking for me, but so far, no luck.

No no. I live in Norway....... The car is almost useless here without one. I just think a lot of the after marked ones are not very practical, and does not look good.

That's what I'm looking for. The big issue for me right now is the level of quality. I'm hoping someone else has purchased on of these things, and knows which brand is best, or at least, is an overall good buy. With so much garbage coming from China these days, it's hard to trust anything any more.

Actually, I was talking about the assembly that goes over the rear seat/cargo area, with a baffle behind the driver and passenger, to reduce wind inside the car.
I know they make them, I just don't know who's unit to purchase, and do many look flaky, that I really want a recommendation before I shell out the hard earned bucks.
By the way, did you get my email looking for a 6.3 for Hiller's?

Jim -if you are talking about the deflector on the trunk --the 500 107s came stock with those. The issue with mounting is some of the 560SLs had a rear mounted 3rd. brake lamp and others had the center so a rear mounted would not have the clearance to mount the spoiler --regardless. Here is the vin number for my 500SL which you can then use to order deflector --if they are available and then of course it is a Euro so one must have a good dealer parts guy to research the part number vin WDB1070461A003188

Hello all!
Totally not an M-100 topic, but I know there is lots of expertise here. I'm looking at getting a wind deflector for my 560SL. There are lots out there, and many look rather sketchy. Does anybody have a suggestion as to what to buy, and where?
