These mounts, 123-241-14-13, unique to the 6.9, will be back in production soon. Maybe August? We'll stock them in and I'll make notification on this forum.

So, the original part seems to be not currently available ( looks like Kip got the last set on the planet ). We settled for the diesel version of the W116 ( #123 241 30 13 ). These mounts fit perfectly and the total job took 5 hours ( albeit a couple choice expletives ). The price was even more of a joy ( $69 each ). The crazy thing was the passenger side was the more easy of the 2. The most difficult part was alignment of the center bolts ( the engine is surprisingly movable). Bottom line, I have a daily driver that I feel better with each improvement. If you see a primer gray 6.9 cruising down the road with a guy wearing Aviator sunglasses, 20 over the speed limit and elbow out the window.....that's me!

Feeling like I am making some progress, a vibration develops during right turns. Elevating to left turns and start up. Bob Gunthorp from Onager Mercedes lifted the hood and immediately showed me the driver's side motor mount as the culprit. My imagination had much worse in mind. We ordered some hard to find #123 241 1413 mounts. Currently waiting their arrival. I will share the outcome as soon as they land.
