just one 600 is enough at the moment, [now it's got to two]
Ah! Thanks Paul. I had that link, but thought there were other, different, photos on Facebook. That clarifies things nicely.

If anybody else has photos, please forward them to me. Thanks very much!

Best Regards to all!

Facebook...

Unfortunately, I am not on Facebook, nor will I ever be. I have some security issues that prevent me from doing that.

So, if there is any other way to get the photos pasted on Facebook, please let me know, and I'll pursue that. Thanks to all who are sharing pictures! Sorry to be such a techno-Luddite...

Best Regards,
Jim

Thanks Paul; Good to see that Dan Smith made it.
Jim,

Several years ago Brian Glusovich set up a cloud account for depositing and retrieving photos. I will try and find the site.

All:

If you can, forward pictures to me for inclusion in an upcoming Star article.

Also, some of us steadfastly refuse to sign up for Facebook, so if there is another way to get photos...

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Jim

We need pictures, or it didn't happen.
Absolutely fabulous event. Thanks to Luis , Ashley and especially King Louie who I'm sure did most of the planning and venue arrangements. Looking forward to next year in New York.

I also felt at home with my new crew. That crazy son-ofa Kip has got me fired up on the NY adventure. I am replacing the injectors and re-testing my rad. next Tuesday. The surgery continues and NY here we come.
If I start now, it could happen --the only parts I don't have are the air bags & body seals. I have a painter that can toss paint on it -
Michael: ALL RIGHT!

My daughter is already planning to drive a 6.3 to NY --maybe I can have the blue car ready
I think the last SoCal meeting was in 2006 at the Classic Center. Others correct me if I'm wrong. Grants Pass and Rogue River were discussed for another time; perhaps a member will offer. I don't know if Weasku Inn has enough rooms. There are other hotels in Grants Pass. Rogue River rafting in M-100s!!

A caravan to New York might be great fun. Advance planning and firm committments would be required. We could pick up members along the way, of course. I would love to help with the planning.

Kip, I could not agree with you more. Thanks to Ashley and Luis and to King Louis for work behind the scenes. Is is too early to talk about an M-100 Caravan to Rheinbeck, NY?

Only if you lead. I like traveling with you. We get there quickly - VERY quickly. Surely Jim H has contacts along the route between here and NY. I think we can expect Clayton and his 6.9 to join the caravan next year.
I'd also be keen on a meet in Grants Pass or SoCal in the meantime.

What an amazing event! MUCH THANKS to Luis and Ashley for putting together a fantastic program full of adventure, fun, and the opportunity to meet some incredible people. LodeFest is a wonderful opportunity to meet members from all over the world, get to know them, make a whole lot of new friends, and finally get a chance to put faces to screen names. The wealth of information shared is beyond belief. The contacts and friendships made are priceless. There were some really unique and beautiful cars there as well.
John Olson gave several talks, each chock full of information and details most of us did not know. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to be able to spend time with people I consider the legends of the M-100 group. You guys are the best!! The tech session was fascinating and even the sideshow of several "gurus" sorting out my steering, suspension, and other issues alone made the trip worthwhile. Thank you Hartmann Motors for the use of your lift, tools, and supplies. I am already looking forward to next year's meet-up and it will be even better going in a car that will be well sorted! If you are on the fence about attending one of these, get off that fence and do it! You won't regret it.

Did I say 002171 is white? --Ivory 670. We painted the back half/roof and now we have probably 3 different shades on the car. The paint we put on is definitely ivory and a closer look verifies that is the correct color -it matches the door jams perfectly --I was told the car was parchment of some sort --which is what it looked like --we buffed the existing paint --got a shine but different shades (Previous paint work) -Still a mountain of work to do before Portland.
