I am currently almost finished Robbie Robertson, lead guitarist and principal songwriter of The Band's autobiography and he says that he bought and owned a 600 in 1976 when he was living in Malibu, California. So we can add him to the list. For those who don't know who The Band were, they were a Canadian group with a single Southerner, Levon Helm on drums. They started life as a backing group for Ronnie Hawkins called The Hawks and then became Bob Dylan's backing group when he went electric in 1965. They recorded in their own right and became very popular in the 1970's, finishing their group career at a Martin Scorsese filmed concert in the Winterland Theater in San Francisco on Thanksgiving 1976 called "The Last Walz". Only two of them are still alive.

Pete Townshend of the Who has had multiple 600s and David Bowie owned a 600 Landaulet but he is the only celebrity I've known to have one. Kim Jong Un has 2 long roof Landaulets of the 9 which will sadly probably never leave NK. Pablo Escobar had a 4 door Pullman which was tragically torched by Los Pepes amongst much of his car collection in a gang raid on one of his properties.

Thanks Paul. I collect Jackie Gleason memorabilia and thought it would be fun to find and buy his 600, but it looks like someone in Germany beat me to the punch. :/

That 4d Pullman from dec 1964, that is claimed as the "Jacky Gleason", is as far as I know now in Germany.

Does anyone know who now owns and/or where Jackie Gleason's 600 is at this point in time?

Most of us are familiar with the picture of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip riding in a 600 Landaulet during their 1965 state visit to West Germany, but I have never seen any movie footage before.
