We had a call from an old time member that has lost her husband this past year. She is looking for new homes for their 6.9 & '86 560SL. The SL is in all original condition with less than 100k miles. The '78 6.9 is a 170,500 mile euro with short bumpers, sunroof, front seat heaters, adjustable rear seat bench -mostly original anthracite and what looks like crème or parchment interior. The car has been suspended on a garage lift for over two years, was a daily -interior is very nice less a hole in the console from a previously mounted component and a carpet patch on the right side console carpet from a previously mounted component. Paint is lightly oxidized with a couple of blemishes. No rust that I could find and the car looks very straight --basically a turn key driver from what I can see. Accumulators were replaced prior to storage.
The car is located in Northern California --please note, I am not middling this car, just putting the word out there and am willing to assist. No price is set and of course she would take the highest offer.
