I am very satisfied with modern quartz mechanism upgrade to my original clock case. Has kept perfect time for 3 or 4 years. I think this was done by Palo Alto Speedometer.

i will give mr Lindquist a call, i would like to keep the clock, i see some of these things selling for 400.00 om ebay
I also recommend North Hollywood Speedometer. 818-761-5136 They do a lot of concours restoration work and may be able to reassemble it for you. Or you can keep an eye on eBay for one in working order.
Dave Lindquist in Whittier, CA is a clockmaker/rebuilder. He rebuilt the clock in my Pagoda several years ago. He's semi-retired now, but may be worth contacting. He did a great job and was not outrageous.

I foolishly took it apart to clean and gears went everywhere, probably not worth repairing at this point
Remarkably, the original clock in my 6.3(5) is still operating properly, albeit a little slow (like me) - - - pretty good for almost 50 years. A very good source when I have required repairs is North Hollywood Speedometer. I've been sending stuff to them since the 50's.
