Hi-

I'm looking for a windshield wiper reservoir for my 1979 6.9 (#1168690320).

Please ring me if you have one available.

Thank you!

Aaron, thank for the tip. the VIN is WDB10901812006265

The rear axle is removed and available for decent offers.

I also have the gas tank, probably has 5-6 pinhole in the bottom and is quite rusty inside. Make an offer and pay shipping and it's yours.

Very good condition steering gear box available also.

You may want to let readers know if the transmission, distributor, and injection pump are for early or late M-100 engines. Also, the bell housing always goes with the transmission, not separately.

Someone asked me about the knob A1158201792 for the air suspension control that is just down by the parking brake handle. I cant find your email anymore.

The knob is avail from MB new, and I would rather sell the entire control assembly with the knob.

Let me know if this interests you.

Hi,

I send a mail to you Rumb, did you get it?

Timo
Art, I'll look forward to hearing about the progress of the W112 sedan. Glad to hear that your son is enjoying the W112 coupe`! :)
Well I paid for a rear axle and for it to come up from Melbourne [1200 miles] a few years ago - I didn't need it, it was a spare but I thought worth having. The sale "fell through" for reasons I don't need to go into here and I lost my money, but that has not changed my opinion that these rear 6.3 axles are worth preserving and not being crushed as long as there are 6.3's being driven and enjoyed. My daily driver is one of my 6.3's; the other is registered for club use. They give me pleasure in my old age[:)].

Aaron, my son has the W112 coupe - it is a very nice car. The green LWB 300SE sedan remains half finished in my garage. It is still perfectly restorable but a number of issues have stopped my progress - a topic for another thread rather than hijack this one.

I agree with you, Art. However, it's a challenge to get people to pay the rear axle's worth, and even harder, if not impossible, to get people to pay shipping on something so big and heavy. I've never had any luck selling 6.3 or 600 rear axles. The very few that have sold were rear axles out of 3.5 and 4.5 cars to Pagoda owners. Even that interest is coming to a halt because Pagoda owners are now realizing that the swap isn't worth the loss of low end "get up and go", and the RPM drop on the highway is only 400-500 RPM. By the way, how are your W112 cars getting along? :)
While I am not in the market to buy parts and am far away regardless, I am surprised that you would ask if there is any value in the rear axle. The limited slip diff is worth a pile of money without even mentioning the sliding spline. I don't know whether that car had the ventillated rear discs, but if it does, the brake components are also valuable. Even the solid rear disc version includes useful components.

You will hear me crying from the antipodes if you send the rear axle to the crusher.

Hello, Rumb: I would like to have the little knob with the white light that fits on the pull for the suspension settings. Thanks

Im getting ready to strip the suspension parts from this car. Is there any value in the rear axle or any parts from it?

If there is any likely hood of someone wanting rear axle part I will pull it, but otherwise the work and storage would be of little benefit.

Hi rumb,
I would be interested in the 2 fuel lines from the back to the front, either to use as is, or use as samples to make new ones for my project. Thanks!
Here are various pipes and hoses. If you would like any of these parts, please reference the number next to the part and send me your offer.
