Author Last Post
Thank you very much.So l was wrong...l had the impression that all 6.9 were dressed with burlwood like all the top of the line S Class cars.

Here is the info on dash trim that I researched a while back.

Zebrano would be correct on a 1976.

Here is a copy of the info I posted a few years ago:

From start of production to chassis 000546 (sometime in 1976):
All cars got a black console insert around the shifter.
Dash wood was brown tinted Zebrano on all color interiors except Blue.
Blue interior got a reddish tinted Zebrano on the dash.

From chassis 000547 (1976) up to 002261 (1977):
Still a black console insert (no wood yet)
All color interiors got a Caucasian Walnut Zebrano on the dash.

From chassis 002262 up to end of production:
All 6.9's received Knotted (burled) Walnut on the dash as well as the console trim panel.

Hi,
Don't have one but just wondered how it's possible to have the zebrano fascia in a 6.9...or is it a bad retrofit...
Thanks
