No this is correct for a 76. Later models had the speakers on top.

Hello,

I am wondering if the dash I am placing is the right one. I believe the dash has been tampered with (woodwork was a bit loose!) was the right woodwork though.

But now the question:
My 1976 benz has the dash with the speakers below (next to the steering wheel and next to the glove box).

Is this not a 1972 dash? Shouldn't a 1976 model have a dash with the speakers on top?
