The poles are the same for the left side and the right side.
Partnumber 126.810.05.84

The mountingunits are different for the left side and for the right side:
Complete set including the flagpoles for the W126 left 126.810.03.84
Complete set incl the flagpoles for the W126 right 126.810.04.84

I don't know if they are still available. Just ask your dealer/

W126 280 SEL chassis.
My friend needs both flag poles, left hand + right hand side.
He already has the fender base mountings as they came fitted on car.

What do you need the "complete set (including mounting matreials?)" for the left side or for the right side or just the "pennants" / flagholder for those cartypes.

1990 ist the W126 ment ??????

For the W108 and W109: 111.810.50.84
For the W116: 116.810.00.84

Note that are different numbers, because the angle of the foot is different.

For the W100 is again an other partnumber: 100.810.05.84
The W124 and W126 series again other partnumbers.

Yes, that is exactly the flag base type we are talking about.
So will that correspond to your bottom picture?
Do you maybe have the MB part numbers?

There already are holes in his fenders where a chrome flag base mounting is fitted.
So I think it is the type in your bottom picture.

Are these commonly available as a used set?

A good friend of mine just purchased a MB 280 SEL which seems to have been an embassy car.
The MB factory flag poles/sticks are missing so he asked me to help getting him a pair.
